Zakopane
Zakopane is often called the winter capital of Poland. It is located in the south of Poland, at the foot of the Tatra Mountains (around a 2-hour drive from Krakow). Zakopane has an unforgettable atmosphere and beautiful views all year round. People come to Zakopane to experience the highlander folklore, their dialect, art, traditions, traditional costumes and music as well as the picturesque wooden architecture, which beautifully presents itself in the foreground of the towering Mount Giewont. Krupowki is one of the most famous streets in Poland, filled with shops, pubs, restaurants, and other institutions.
